It's time for me to write my post about working with the @ClearTrustAuto and @AntonRudinski team. With the beginning of the school season, it came as an epiphany that without a car to take a child to school by taxi or public transport.transportation is extremely inconvenient and exhausting for everyone. I started looking for options, the local market, and polovniautomobil, let's say, surprised me with the prices, condition, and mileage of the cars displayed there. Conventional 10-year-old cars, under 300t.km of mileage were not suitable for me. Everything is very sad in the salons too. I decided to look for those who will help bring the car from European auctions. So I went to Vladimir and Denis, and then everything started spinning.
Looking ahead, it's a miracle! You pay the money, make 2 appointments, and a car from Europe with your desired options at your entrance with license plates and registration. Without having to "hang around" in different instances and wait. It's like a concierge service for very important and wealthy people. I ordered it and you're just looking at the pictures on the screen. It's gorgeous and very comfortable!
First, something like a technical specification was created with a description of the desired options (such as a rear-view camera, keyless entry), models (Volvo XC40, Mini Countryman F60, Volkswagen T-Roc, Audi Q3), mileage, colors, a budget was indicated and an advance payment was made. Be sure to listen to your manager, especially about the price, he knows the market and its features better. Sometimes a 300€ budget increase may separate you from winning the auction. They also select options in the right budget, with the agreed options, and send them for viewing. It's a painful selection of several options every day, as many are very good, but go beyond the budget, do not fall into the desired options, and so on. I want to point out that the guys from ClearTrust seem to be working around the clock. We often discussed something in the chat at 8 a.m., 1 p.m., 7 p.m., and 3 a.m., and that happened too. The buyer is led by the handle all the way from the lot at the auction to the car at the entrance. After all the selections, a couple of positions were selected and bidding began.
One of the features of working with auctions is that it takes time. It will take about a month or two to select the desired lot online and about a month for delivery and registration of the car in Serbia. You never know exactly what documents there are, whether it was carried out and when, you can evaluate the car only from the available pictures and trust in the reliability of the report on the site, as well as from databases using the VIN number. The same equipment name may differ for different countries. Some injuries can be scary in pictures, but not in real life and vice versa. The list of displayed cars is updated once a day.
The lot was won from Italy. It seemed that Italian farmers rode through the fields in rubber boots in the cabin, it was so polluted in the photo. Don't be afraid of dirt, it's easy enough to remove, as long as everything is intact and in good working order, as in my cases.
Today I picked up the car from the service station after a lot of maintenance with the replacement of the timing belt, oil, replacement of all filters and diagnostics of all systems (chassis, brakes, air conditioning, etc.) and refilling fluids, as well as after tire repair for the "all-season".
Now I can say that I am the happy owner of a Volvo XC40, T5, plug-in hybrid, 21 years old, manufactured in Ghent,BL, without a single complaint or error of the system in terms of mechanical and software parts. And thanks again for this slightly exciting but very enjoyable experience with @ClearTrustAuto.
PS, it has not been possible to charge yet, most of the stations are not working (you need a Type C or 2 connector) or you need an RFID tag from one of the providers or the parking lot in front of the station is occupied by internal combustion engines. The search continues 😆
