, SCAMMERS!
Letters about parking "fines"
One of the members of our community received a fake fine notice from a certain company "..." DOO Novi Sad.
The letter claims that a debt of 1,000 dina + additional fees of up to 6,200 dina was allegedly charged for unpaid parking in Zrenyanin, as well as the details of a "lawyer" and a bank account for payment.
On paper, everything looks official — the seal, the signature, the legal text in Serbian.
But in fact, this is a fraudulent scheme.
No utility company or parking service transfers foreclosures to private firms like this one.
⸻
, How to distinguish a fake
• Check fines only on the official Parking servisa websites
• Payment is made only through these sites or on site at their offices —
never using the bank details of "lawyers".
• These emails contain a QR code, a logo, and a solution number that can be checked online.
⸻
What should I do if I receive such an email?
1. Do not pay or contact the sender.
2. Take a picture of the document and the envelope.
3. Report the fraud to the police (Policija).
4. Check the actual fines only on your city's website.
